South Lincolnshire Blind Society aims to work with blind and partially sighted people, to provide services so that they may lead fuller, more independent lives.
It is a totally local and independent charity with no statutory funding.
The Society's office and resource centre is based in Grantham which is accessible to all service users and members of the public. This provides information, equipment and general advice along with providing the administration of the charity.
South Lincolnshire Blind Society is here to help anyone whose eyesight has become a cause for concern, whether they are registered as having a visual impairment or not.
Many of our services are provided free of charge. There will be a charge for some items and equipment from the Resource Centre, but for expensive items with people on low income, there may be opportunities for grants. If people need guidance with benefits claims related to their sight loss we can provide some support. Any person resident in the administrative district council areas of North Kesteven, South Kesteven, Boston Borough and South Holland can make use of our services and anyone can contact SLBS for support.
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
Please join this worthy and charitable lottery by signing up today.
Thank you for your support and good luck!
